NASA’s backbone for deep space exploration and Artemis. SLS is the only rocket that can send Orion, astronauts, and cargo directly to the Moon in a single launch.
I thought that Artemis rocket, after many a couple of aborts, did get off the ground and then blow up. They called it a success because isn’t this the heaviest rocket to ever launch? Or am I confusing this?

It’s a big guy, alright – the biggest, in fact
Correction to my comment: they did manage to get Orion into orbit and had a successful splashdown on Dec 11, 2022. Yay!!!
Clarification to my correction : Orion is the business end of the Artemis rocket. I think.
Orion might just be the crew capsule. Wonder what the lander is called.
