   I have a secret infantile hope that smart, compassionate aliens will remove the Bad Man to a golf course on a far-away planet. His minions are free to accompany him so they can continue their worship service. The aliens will then restore our nation’s science research, CDC standards, environmental protections, DEI, history books will revert to truth, books will not be banned, and an unbiased Supreme Court that rules to advance human rights, and will toss out the Electoral Collagen. PS cherry on the top wish: all January 6 insurrectionists will be put back in prison, Ashley Babbit’s family will have to give back give the money they got from the government. The Epstein victims will see justice. Karolyn Leavitt will be demoted to selling cheap cross necklaces. Ukraine and Gaza will be restored so their people can return home and live happily and in peace. Putin and Netanyahu will join The Bad man in the far-away island, where they will have twice- daily group therapy lessons, in an effort to find their souls. Peace and collaboration will rule the Earth, guided by a deep respect for our life giving Mother Earth. Amen!!

      That is a profound hope; maybe too much to ask of the observers of this earthly experiment. I’m pessimistic. As is true of the individual, collective humanity is on its own – there’s no one to save us.
